Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) suspension feedstocks are specifically developed for Suspension Plasma Spraying (SPS). By combining high-purity ceramic powders with carefully controlled suspension technology, the resulting feedstock provides consistent spray performance and enables the production of high-quality ceramic coatings for demanding industrial environments.

Production Process

The manufacturing process is carefully controlled to produce a stable and homogeneous ceramic suspension suitable for SPS processing.

Suspension Preparation

The ceramic powder is dispersed into a suitable liquid carrier using specialized dispersing agents that promote excellent particle distribution.

Homogenization

The suspension undergoes intensive mixing and milling to obtain a stable, uniform feedstock with consistent rheological properties.

Quality Verification

Each production batch is evaluated for important characteristics such as particle dispersion, viscosity, suspension stability and overall consistency.

Packaging

The finished suspension is filtered and packaged under controlled conditions to preserve its quality until use in the plasma spraying process.
