PGM recycling for Pharma and Medical industries

let us handle the waste materials containing precious metals for you, providing you best value and long term corporation

Circle PGM provides precious metal recovery for the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. From PGM-containing components and diagnostic residues to labware and fine chemicals or API’s— we offer clean, transparent recovery with honest, value-based returns.

Introduction

What we do

We help pharmaceutical and medical manufacturers recover more value from precious metal-containing materials. From spent catalysts and coated components to residues from lab processes and fine chemicals — valuable PGMs are often left behind. Circle PGM helps you turn these streams into measurable returns — reducing material losses, improving operational efficiency, and supporting your sustainability and compliance goals.

Benefits

Maximise recovery, meet the highest standards.

For pharmaceutical and medical manufacturers, recovering precious metals through a clean, circular process isn’t just a sustainable choice — it’s a smart way to meet strict industry standards while improving cost-efficiency.

Cut costs through proper recoveries.

Margins are under pressure, therefore we ensure that you do not have to worry about the value of your waste materials. Enabling you to focus on what you do best; taking care of health and wellbeing.

Ensure environmental compliance

Our approach is fully aligned with European environmental standards — helping you stay ahead of regulatory requirements while lowering your operational impact and reducing your CO₂ footprint.

Gain transparency and control

With real-time tracking, full documentation, and verified PGM content analysis, you get a clear, honest and transparent insight into the value and outcome of every batch – making planning, reporting, and scaling easier than ever.

Products

Precious metal products.

Through our advanced recovery process, and then refining, spent precious metal residues are transformed into high-purity compounds- such as, chlorides, salts, wire and many other forms and shapes. These reclaimed materials can be made to your specification and returned to you, ready for reuse in your various applications.

Ir sponge

Would you like to receive your iridium back as a sponge for your process, we can supply you to your specification.

Ru sponge

Prefer to receive your ruthenium back as a sponge? We’ll supply you according to your needs.

Pt catalyst

If you require a specific platinum catalyst, please let us know, we’d be more than happy to support.

Pd catalyst

Palladium catalyst could be supplied in various forms. Get in touch and we’ll be able to assist you.

Au/Ag ingots / granules

Are you using ingots or granules for your process? Share us your specification and we’ll be able to supply you these.

Circular Economy

Closed-loop system

A closed-loop system is the key to sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective operations. By continuously recycling and reusing materials, you reduce waste, lower emissions, and minimize reliance on newly mined resources. This not only helps you meet environmental regulations, but also strengthens your business in reaching its sustainability targets.

Circularity, in its purest form, means returning a product to its original state — as it was. That’s the essence of a true closed-loop system. And that is exactly what we have created — a one-stop shop for full-circle precious metal recovery and supply.

Looking for advise about transitioning to a closed loop system? We are happy to offer our expertise.

How does Circle PGM handle logistics?

Circle PGM works with long term logistics partners across the globe. This ensures trustworthy and secure shipments

What materials can Circle PGM recover?

We handle a wide variety of materials containing precious metals (PGMs) in all shapes and sizes. Our specialty lies in iridium and ruthenium coated materials, which we process using our unique, chemical-free method.

Is Circle PGM compliant with European environmental regulations?

Yes, Circle PGM is compliant with European environmental regulations. Our innovative, chemical-free recovery process aligns with the standards for sustainability, safety, and environmental protection. We continue to improve on a daily basis.

What materials can be recovered and refined?

If your material contains precious metals, recovery is possible, even from very low concentrations. Whether it involves coated materials, solids, liquids, hazardous substances, organics, catalysts, or any other form shape or size, our team is here to assist you. Feel free to get in touch with us!

What’s the difference between destructive and non-destructive coating removal?

Destructive coating removal breaks down both the coating and the substrate, making the substrate unusable. Non-destructive removal, however, separates the coating while preserving the substrate, allowing it to be reused. At Circle PGM, we specialize in non-destructive, chemical-free method to recover precious metals sustainably
